UPDATE: On April 27, Jefferson and Boulder Counties posted Announcements allowing the resumption of elective dental procedures. We are working to get our office open as soon as possible.https://www.jeffco.us/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=1186https://www.bouldercounty.org/families/disease/covid-19/
Yesterday, Friday, April 24, both Jefferson County and Boulder County extended the current stay-at-home order through May 8. This means that we will not be able to see patients beginning on Monday, according to Governor Polis’s “safer-at-home” plan. We are so sorry to have to backtrack, but in order to stay compliant, all appointments that were scheduled before May 8 will need to be rescheduled.
Please do not call to reschedule. This is turning into a big puzzle with moving pieces. We do have an organized list of patients that need appointments and we will begin calling today.
Dr. Dixon has been working in the Westminster office most days, fabricating smart smile trays, watching webinars on safety recommendations, and seeing emergency patients. The best way to reach him is by texting our after-hours line at (720) 316-8221.
We acknowledge that this shut-down has lasted much longer than the three weeks that were originally planned. If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please know that you do have the option of suspending your contract. Just leave a voicemail message at (303) 430-4200 requesting a suspension and I will take care of that for you. If you are able to continue making payments, I would humbly ask that you do so. All payments are, of course, being credited to your account.
We apologize for the inconvenience. We are eager to get everyone back on track. Stay well!
Claire Dixon
